Secure cross-chain communication

Synapse is the most widely used, extensible, secure cross-chain communications network. Build truly cross-chain applications using the Synapse Protocol.

Securely connect every blockchain

Synapse is comprised of a cross-chain messaging framework and an economically secure method to reach consensus on the validity of cross-chain transactions, enabling developers to build truly native cross-chain apps.
Extensible
Synapse's cross-chain messaging contracts can be deployed across any blockchain
Secure
Synapse employs an Optimistic security model to ensure integrity of cross-chain messages
Generalized
Any arbitrary data can be sent across chains including contract calls, NFTs, snapshots, and more

Powering the most popular bridge

Synapse Bridge is built on top of the cross-chain infrastructure enabling users to seamlessly transfer assets across all blockchains. The Bridge has become the most widely-used method to move assets cross-chain, offering low cost, fast, and secure bridging.

Bridge
Deep Liquidity
Swap native assets using our cross-chain AMM liquidity pools
Wide Support
Access over 16 different EVM and non-EVM blockchains with more integrations coming soon
Developer Friendly
Easily integrate cross-chain token bridging natively into your decentralized application

Developer-Friendly Tools

Synapse offers comprehensive developer tools such as SDKs and REST APIs, allowing for easy integration of cross-chain functionalities into decentralized applications (dApps). Developers can create advanced DeFi applications—like cross-chain DEXs, yield aggregators, and lending platforms—without being limited by blockchain compatibility Overview | Synapse Protocol

Developer-Friendly Tools

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet
Begin by navigating to the official Synapse Bridge. Connect a supported cryptocurrency wallet such as MetaMask. This connection serves as your interface for managing asset transfers across different blockchain networks.
Step 2: Select Source and Destination Blockchains
Once your wallet is connected, select the blockchain network where your assets are currently stored (source chain) and choose the target blockchain (destination chain). For instance, if you hold assets on Ethereum but want to transfer them to Avalanche, select Ethereum as the source and Avalanche as the destination.
Step 3: Choose Asset and Transfer Type
Synapse Bridge offers two main types of transfers: Canonical Token Bridging: This method involves transferring wrapped assets between blockchain networks. Liquidity-Based Bridging: For this type, the bridge utilizes liquidity pools to swap native assets, offering efficient and fast cross-chain swaps Overview | Synapse Protocol
Step 4: Confirm and Complete the Transfer
After choosing the type of asset and amount to transfer, review the provided quote for fees, slippage, and estimated time of completion. The RFQ relayers in Synapse help ensure that users get competitive rates. Confirm the transaction via your wallet, and you can track its progress through the bridge interface Overview | Synapse Protocol
Step 5: Track and Manage Your Assets
After initiating the transaction, you can track the asset transfer’s status in real-time. Upon successful confirmation on both the source and destination blockchains, your assets will appear on the target network.

Battled-test infrastructure

Synapse has processed millions of transactions and tens of billions in bridged assets.
